Stories of Italy

Stories of Italy is a Milan based brand and design studio that creates fine products steeped in traditional Italian craft. After several years in the fashion industry Dario Buratto, creative director, likes to experiment with fines materials (as Murano blown glass and Carrara marble) and artisans' skills.

Stories of Italy blends design, craft and art to capture the essence of the most iconic Italian traditions, many of which often carry precise aesthetic rules.

All works are conceived as "everyday objects", with a strong aesthetic power and an innate sense of style reflecting centuries of Italian craftsmanship.

In addition to its classic product range, the brand is also offering to develop customised products thereby giving uniqueness to architect’s and designer’s projects (like Gilles & Boissier), as well as for hotels (Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons), restaurants, galleries (Bensimon), brands (Diptyque) and concept stores (The Conran Shop).
