Tina Tictone Studio

Tina’s started her artistic career history with musical creation.

In the meantime, she’s slowly developed a passion for visual art first by obtaining a degree in graphic design.

Immersing herself in a multidisciplinary process, between painting, drawing and tapestry, she’s building a personal pictorial vocabulary in which music remains a constant factor.

Tina Tictone’s primary inspiration comes from Sonia Delaunay’s abstract art and Niki de Saint Phalle ‘s oneirism, together with Sheila Hicks’s textile works.

Actually, she’s dividing her time between France and Morocco. She got an artist residency at the Montresso Foundation, where her use of tufting has evolved thanks to the discovery of Berber tapestries, exclusively woven by women.
