Brunhilde Bordeaux-Groult

Brunhilde Bordeaux-Groult is a French artist trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf.

Inspired by the idea of “an Art total where art weaves itself into everyday life,” her work explores the “pursuit of beauty as a portal to transcendence.”

Through carved wood and embroidered textiles, she creates organic forms that oscillate between abstraction and figuration.

Rooted in Romantic and alchemical thought, her practice reflects on the unity of all living beings and the porous boundaries between worlds.
